ᴳᴿᴬᴾᴴᴵᶜ ᴰᴱˢᴵᴳᴺ

নবী কারীম সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেন, আমাকে কুরবানীর দিবসে ঈদ (পালনের) আদেশ করা হয়েছে, যা আল্লাহ এ উম্মতের জন্য নির্ধারণ করেছেন। এক সাহাবী আরজ করলেন, ইয়া রাসূলাল্লাহ! যদি আমার কাছে শুধু একটি মানীহা থাকে (অর্থাৎ অন্যের থেকে নেওয়া দুগ্ধ দানকারী উটনী) আমি কি তা কুরবানী করব? নবী কারীম সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বললেন, না, তবে তুমি চুল, নখ ও মোঁচ কাটবে এবং নাভীর নিচের পশম পরিষ্কার করবে। এটাই আল্লাহর দরবারে তোমার পূর্ণ কুরবানী বলে গণ্য হবে। -সুনানে আবু দাউদ, হাদীস ২৭৮৯; সুনানে নাসায়ী, হাদীস ৪৩৬৫


Hazrat Muhammad ﷺ say (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, I have been ordered to observe Eid on the Day of Sacrifice, which Allah has ordained for this Ummah. A companion requested, O Messenger of God! If I have only one maniha (i.e. she-camel taken from another) should I sacrifice it? Muhammad ﷺ say, No, but you should cut your hair, nails and mustache and clean the hair below the navel. This will be considered as your full sacrifice before Allah. -Sunan Abu Dawud, Hadith 2789; Sunan Nasa'i, Hadith 4365

যখন যিলহজ্বের দশক শুরু হবে তখন তোমাদের মধ্যে যে কুরবানী করবে সে যেন তার চুল নখ না কাটে। -সহীহ মুসলিম, হাদীস ১৯৭৭; জামে তিরমিযী, হাদীস ১৫২৩


When the decade of Zil-Hajj begins, let him who sacrifices among you not cut his hair and nails. -Sahih Muslim, Hadith 1977; Jame' Tirmidhi, Hadith 1523

আল্লাহ তাআলা বলেন, ‘কিন্তু মনে রেখো! কোরবানির গোশত বা রক্ত আল্লাহর কাছে পৌঁছায় না, আল্লাহর কাছে পৌঁছায় শুধু তোমাদের নিষ্ঠাপূর্ণ আল্লাহ সচেতনতা। এই লক্ষ্যেই কোরবানির পশুগুলোকে তোমাদের অধীন করে দেওয়া হয়েছে। অতএব আল্লাহ তোমাদের সৎপথ প্রদর্শনের মাধ্যমে যে কল্যাণ দিয়েছেন, সেজন্যে তোমরা আল্লাহর মহিমা ঘোষণা করো। হযরত মুহাম্মাদ সল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম'কে মহান আল্লাহ বলেন! আপনি সৎকর্মশীলদের সুসংবাদ দিন যে, আল্লাহ বিশ্বাসীদের রক্ষা করবেন। নিশ্চয়ই আল্লাহ কোনো বিশ্বাসঘাতক, অকৃতজ্ঞকে পছন্দ করেন না।’ (সুরা হজ : আয়াত ৩৭-৩৮)

Allah Ta'ala says, 'But remember! Neither the meat nor the blood of the sacrifice reaches Allah, only your devotional awareness of Allah reaches Allah. It is for this purpose that the sacrificial animals have been subjected to you. Therefore, glorify Allah for the goodness He has given you by guiding you. Give glad tidings to the righteous that Allah will protect the believers. Surely Allah does not like a traitor, an ungrateful person.' (Surah Hajj: Verses 37-38)
