In the attached picture, there are two parts that have interaction to each other. In some papers, they have used Tie constraint between them and in the others, frictional contact has been defined between two parts. Unfortunately none of them have explained about their meshes. As depicted in the picture, in my mesh there are some nodes that are not in front of each other exactly.
Does it make problem for the result?
Should I make the mesh better if I want to use Tie constraint?
Should I change it if I want to define Contact Interaction between them?
