Alight. Unseen smiles
in northern autumnal skies.
Songs for ancient times. The time is right and the skies know it. Waiting in eternal yearning for the change. They feel it on the breeze and know it's whisper.
Smiles unseen soon to manifest so all can smile in rhyme and rhythm to his. Not knowing how or where it came from. Such is the breeze. And so too is this light. It's only a matter of time. So for now he said we must remain patient. And learn what patience not only looks like but how its properly tasted. With adab in movement inward and out. To flow and gently unlock at the right time.

#musing on so called soul fog | veilings

... so one minute or so after noticing the weather was clear the mist appeared as if out of nowhere. I was asked by a brother about the difference between fog and mist and did not know the answer. Found out some time later some definitions and what sets the two apart and a thought came to heart....
The symbols we were seeing in the air now seemed to speak out and tell the tale of veils and how they differ in nature, the way to navigate the two and how to best avoid the stain of each one's refraction and unique residual mark.
You see; not all veils are the same they say, as some are from light, whilst others are darknesses. And a sacred method exists that's been inherited to help you navigate such experiences and the states your soul tastes. The former you penetrate straight through whilst the later you circumvent and navigate right round to best reroot. The dark veils are thick and pertain to sin - an ugliness within, whilst the light ones are thin and they masquerade as something good, and they can be, but the shining can to some become a distraction. So once again; the dark veils - you simply don't engage with, you stay away from and go around them gracefully, if you happen to face them. Don't attempt to wade through this type of fog, lest you get lost in the dark.
The veils of light on the other hand require your soul's full attention to fixate like a bright line that cuts through like a sharp knife from a full beam headlight to the end destination, so as not to die or drown or get stuck and shrivel up like a worn out moth now exhausted from each and every glow in a miriad of distractions. Don't let the mist bend your lens to the light you seek. Don't let the glows that mesmerize through kaleidoscope moth's eyes loose their sight in the blinding dazzle of the spectrum. Keep your feet on the ground and keep your soul faced in the only real direction.
This fog if left without being cleaned will be the breeding ground where erosions feed and soon encrust with layers of rust over the soul that first obscure then later blind its vision. And this mist is easily missed if not payed any attention. The eyes, now misted over and easily able to misconstrue through the veils of light that mystically hypnotize which causes a contortion of the view to something now obscure; so the destination looks different to what it seemed like before as the coordinates are now skewed. Like a lens staring back at you, but it all seems upside down and the wrong way round and heading in the wrong direction, but there's nothing now you can do.
So what you do before its too late is get the soul mist to dissepate and demystify so the light is clear and your sight is fixed on what it should be. And to do this it must be recalibrated and realigned constantly.
So in summary; veils exist. And in these times in particular they often stick. And fog is not mist. Though the difference can be subtle. But all veils are veils. And to see properly you need to never loose sight of the destination, no matter the ugliness or the beauty of the distraction. Feels like a pulse. And can come and go without you noticing. Like the shifting in the weather; just appears as if out of nowhere. But the symbols are signs that are read right when the soul is clear.
