1. Trust vs. Mistrust (Birth to 1 year)
विश्वास बनाम अविश्वास (जन्म से 1 वर्ष तक)
- Virtue: Hope
गुण: आशा
- Description: If the child's needs are met consistently, they develop trust; otherwise, they may develop mistrust.
विवरण: यदि बच्चे की ज़रूरतें लगातार पूरी की जाती हैं, तो वह विश्वास विकसित करता है; अन्यथा, वह अविश्वास विकसित कर सकता है।

2. Autonomy vs. Shame and Doubt (1 to 3 years)
स्वायत्तता बनाम लज्जा और संदेह (1 से 3 वर्ष)
- Virtue: Willpower
गुण: इच्छाशक्ति
- Description: Encouraging independence leads to autonomy; over-control leads to shame and doubt.

3. Initiative vs. Guilt (3 to 6 years)

- Description: Support in initiating activities leads to purposefulness; lack of support leads to guilt.
विवरण: गतिविधियाँ शुरू करने में सहयोग देने से उद्देश्य की भावना विकसित होती है; सहयोग की कमी से अपराधबोध उत्पन्न हो सकता है।

4. Industry vs. Inferiority (6 to 12 years)
उद्योग बनाम हीनता (6 से 12 वर्ष)
- Virtue: Competency
गुण: क्षमता
- Description: Success in school and social interactions builds industry; failure leads to feelings of inferiority.
विवरण: स्कूल और सामाजिक संपर्कों में सफलता से उद्योगशीलता विकसित होती है; असफलता से हीनता की भावना पैदा हो सकती है।

5. Identity vs. Role Confusion (12 to 18 years)
पहचान बनाम भूमिका भ्रम (12 से 18 वर्ष)

- Description: Successful identity formation leads to strong self-concept; confusion results in weak identity.

6. Intimacy vs. Isolation (18 to 40 years)

विवरण: अगली पीढ़ी का मार्गदर्शन करने से सृजनशीलता की भावना उत्पन्न होती है; ऐसा करने में असफल रहने पर ठहराव की स्थिति पैदा हो सकती है।

8. Integrity vs. Despair (65 years and above)
अखंडता बनाम निराशा (65 वर्ष और उससे अधिक)
- Virtue: Wisdom
गुण: बुद्धिमत्ता
- Description: Reflecting on a meaningful life leads to integrity; regrets lead to despair.
विवरण: सार्थक जीवन पर चिंतन करने से अखंडता की भावना विकसित होती है; पछतावा निराशा का कारण बनता है।
