3 tips to improve your writing

Hi guys welcome or welcome back to another edition of Ucee's write-up. As you can see from my post today I will be giving you guys solid tips to improve your writing.

Today, I'll be giving you guys three tested and trusted tips to improve your writing skills. You're welcome 🤗.

📍Have mentors: Mentorship is very important in all areas of life because like Isaac Newton said 'If I have seen any further, it is by standing on the shoulders of giants'. The importance of having a mentor as a writer can't be overemphasized. As a writer, for you to be better, you have to have someone that has gone ahead of you. This person would serve as a guide because he/she would have passed through whatever challenges that you may be passing through and as such, will help you navigate.

📍Write diverse kinds of write-ups: Come out of your comfort zone and write content outside of your regular niche. The more you write, the better you get at it, and you'll see that you'll become a better writer overall.

📍Be open to constructive criticism: A lot of people can't take criticism. Take note however, I said 'constructive criticism' because I know that some people don't know how to talk. They'll just rubbish your writing 😭. However, look for a friend, it could even be your mentor, that will look at your work, and tell you the truth, not lie to you so that you won't feel bad.
