The best trades emerge and rally for several days on increased volume. This is how you differentiate institutional buying from retail buying.
If big institutions are in there accumulating a position, it will likely happen for a number of days with persistant buying. Retail buying may break a stock out but the buying will not be enough to hold the stock up for long.
So look for follow-through buying with good volume.

Chappy market is the hardest to trade, because it does offer us good setups but most of them do not work. On the other hand trending market is the easiest whether it is downtrend or uptrend.
Downtrending market does not offer good setups hence we have to sit out. we do not earn during this phase but we do not lose either.
