Here's a summary of the most important information shared by the Corporate team in today's Corporate zoom.
BitSports suffered a heavy blow in its finances and also in some of the trading accounts in the betting houses too.
The company had an internal audit during the last couple of days and they found out that the cyber attack came from outside with the help of someone from inside the company.
Thousands of USDT addresses were changed and some of the company payment wallets were also compromised resulting in the loss of a substantial amount of money.
Due to the the security breach, the company separated most of the their staff, while they continue investigating everything.
As a result of the loss of funds and the closing of trading accounts and the limitation in the company staff, the company has decided that they will stop the public operations of the platform as we know it.
No more registrations or new deposits will be accepted until further notice.
With the limited funds left, the company will continue to trade in order to pay the members "who have not recover their initial deposits yet".
All remaining accounts that already received their initial deposits will not receive any more payments.
The company will reset all the USDT addresses for every member to be able to add his/her address again.
The company will begin paying on October 30th to those previously mentioned members.
The minimum to withdraw will be $10 and the maximum will be $100.
