God is a covenant-keeping God, and you salvation is a covenant that embraces your entire family. Because of that covenant, your loved ones will serve the Lord.

This principle is seen in Exodus 12:3, where God commanded Moses to take a lamb for a house: “Speak ye unto all the congregation of Israel, saying , In the tenth day of this month they shall take to them every man a lamb, according to the house of their fathers, a lamb for an house.”

Under the Old Covenant, a lamb was offered during the Feast of Passover for the forgiveness of sins. During the Passover Feast, every Jewish household offered one lamb for their entire family—a lamb for a house.

A powerful truth is revealed through this illustration. When one person received the lamb, it became available for the…

Nearly three years after my salvation, as I continued to cry out to God for my family, the Lord spoke to me—“Quit asking Me and take your authority!”

I had no idea what this meant. To my knowledge I had never heard anyone preach or teach on the subject of taking authority. I was in my bedroom in our family’s home at 48 Crossbow Crescent in Toronto, yet suddenly it was if one of the secrets of the entire universe was being unveiled to me.

I didn’t know what to do. The main Bible verse I had learned that had anything to do with that was in James 4:7. I just didn’t know how to go about rebuking the devil, but with a righteous anger rising inside me, yet not really knowing what to expect, I said defiantly, “Satan, take your hands off my family!”

A boldness suddenly hit my soul unlike anything…

Do you have loved ones who need Jesus Christ?

It seems that all of us do. Upon salvation, most of us immediately begin praying for our lost family members to receive Jesus, too. We want them to discover for themselves what we’ve experienced during that life-changing moment when we become new creations in Christ Jesus.

It has been many years now since February 14, 1972, at 7:50 a.m. when I said, “Jesus, come into my heart.” A moment later, as I walked out of the library at Georges Vanier Secondary School to go to my French class, I was a transformed teenager. And one of the first things I wanted to do was share my newfound faith with my family.

Let me tell you, on the authority of God’s Word, that the season for the…

There is power in agreement!

Charles H. Spurgeon, the remarkable Bible teacher, was showing visitors through London’s Metropolitan Tabernacle where he served as pastor for 38 years. After taking the guests through the main part of the building, he said, “Come, and I’ll show you the heating apparatus.” Imagine the surprise when he took them to a room where 400 people were gathered in fervent prayer!

The prayer warriors were in agreement, and the spiritual “heat” spread throughout the church, their community, and the world!

It was the power of agreement that brought the power of the Holy Spirit.

On the day of Pentecost, the power of God fell because the apostles and disciples were united in prayer: “And when the day of…

The Bible is literally filled with examples of people whose entire households came to the Lord, and we believe that your household can be saved too. Here are two promises for you to claim today and always:

1. 1. It is God’s will that your children be saved, for “He shall judge the poor of the people, he shall save the children of the needy, and shall break in pieces the oppressor” (Psalm 72:4, KJV).

2. 2. It is God’s will that your children know His glory, for we are told: “Let thy work appear unto thy servants, and thy glory unto their children” (Psalm 90:16, KJV).

From the beginning, this ministry has emphasized the power in agreement, for our Lord Jesus taught, “Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be…

What is intercession? First of all, intercession is sacrificial prayer. It focuses less on you and more on others. It asks for God’s power to be unleashed in the world.

Intercessory prayer involves spiritual warfare. Our battle is not against flesh and blood and it is not fought with carnal weapons. We win these battles on our knees!

Through intercessory prayer and agreement, you can subdue the forces of hell and render Satan powerless, because “the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds.”

Through intercession, you can change the course of history. Through prayer and intercession, you can rescue your children from disaster and pray them into the…

Today, you may be concerned for a son, a daughter, or for a friend. Perhaps you are in a prison of distress over health, finances, or a relationship.

Do not delay in finding someone to unite with you in prayer. Be like Paul and find a Silas who will join you in calling on heaven: “At midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God” (Acts 16:25). What happened to them can become your story.

The great Bible teacher Andrew Murray said:

Who can say what power a church could develop and exercise if it gave itself to the work of prayer day and night for God's power on His servants and His word, and for the glorifying of God in the salvation of souls? Most churches think their members are gathered into one…

Many believers fail to realize that what takes place on earth can affect the actions of heaven. You see, God is willing to act on your behalf, but He may be waiting for you to pray and agree with someone before He performs it.

The Lord spoke about this through the prophet Ezekiel. It was God’s will to give an increase to His people. However, there were two requirements:

1. First, there had to be agreement, not from just one person, but from “the people of Israel.”
2. Second, they had to ask God—the people had to “ask Me.”

The Lord is willing to flood your life with the riches of heaven. What is holding Him back? Your prayer of…

The Word declares, “One man of you shall chase a thousand, for the Lord your God is He who fights for you, as He promised you.” (Joshua 23:10). In Deuteronomy 32:30, the proportion becomes even more astounding, for one shall chase a thousand, “and two put ten thousand to flight.”

It is a Scriptural principle that when we come into agreement with God and others, the power multiplies supernaturally!

God used a praying Gideon, a united 300 men, trumpets, and torches inside clay jars to rout the entire army of the neighboring oppressors, the Midianites and Amalekites. And even more impressively, our Lord Jesus took a handful of followers and literally spread the Gospel throughout the known world, eventually touching the…

God created man for fellowship and companionship. We were made in His image Genesis 1:27).

Our Father not only established a relationship with His children, but continues to encourage us to be concerned with others.. It is the foundation of spiritual agreement.

The Bible admonishes us to:

* Comfort one another (1 Thessalonians 4:18)
* Edify one another (1 Thessalonians 5:11)
* Forgive one another (Colossians 3:13)
* Serve one another (Galatians 5:13)
* Consider one another (Hebrews 10:24)
* Be kind one to another (Ephesians 4:2)
* Love one another (John 13:34)

The passage in 1 Timothy 2, in addition to exhorting us to pray for each other, offers very specific prayers so that all will be saved and come into the…

Agreement brings victory in evangelism!

Just before ascending to heaven, Jesus Christ instructed His disciples, “Go into the world. Go everywhere and announce the Message of God’s good news to one and all. Whoever believes and is baptized is saved” (Mark 16:15, MSG). He gave them the greatest privilege and the greatest honor given to any man or woman.

The apostle Paul spoke of the agreement needed to carry out our Lord’s commandment:

For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not…

Agreement opens doors!

In our ministry, we have seen God unlock “impossible” doors all over the world, including Russia, China, the Middle East, and so many more places. Our television programs and streaming services have been able to reach people in many countries and regions that are absolutely closed to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. And one of the most improbable open doors was a three-day event in India, attended by over 7.3 million people, the largest healing and evangelistic crusade in recorded history!

I am convinced it is the power of agreement that has …

In the face of great persecution those who proclaimed Christ as their Savior somehow bonded together with great love and passion.

They prayed earnestly for the disciples and apostles. As a result these men were endowed with a fervor that came from heaven itself: “Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated and untrained men, they marveled. And they realized that they had been with Jesus” (Acts 4:13).

Likewise, the apostle Paul asked believers to be strong in the power of God’s might:

Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open…

As the children of Israel went into battle against the attacking Amalekites, Scripture records: “And so it was, when Moses held up his hand, that Israel prevailed; and when he let down his hand, Amalek prevailed” (Exodus 17:11).

Why were Aaron and Hur beside Moses?

To support him, not just physically, but spiritually, as well.

As a result, “So Joshua defeated Amalek and his people with the edge of the sword.” (Exodus 17:13).

Those who were standing with Moses were not distant or casual acquaintances. The hearts of these three men…

When the children of Israel were on their journey in the wilderness, they battled more than hunger and thirst. There were physical enemies, great armies who attacked them, including the Amaleks, a mighty and fierce people, well-trained warriors, who attacked the weary children of Israel: “Then came Amalek, and fought with Israel in Rephidim” (Exodus 17:8).

Moses put his disciple Joshua in charge of the troops who were to fight against the Amalekites: “Choose us some men and go out, fight with Amalek. Tomorrow I will stand on the top of the hill with the rod of God in my hand” (Exodus 17:9).

Joshua followed the command and Moses watched the…
