We have temporarily removed our app from the AppStore to update payment methods and the user agreement in accordance with Apple's requirements.

In the updated version of the app, we comply with all Apple's recommendations and rules to prevent potential issues in the future.

​​🔥 This is Friday Digest #3

1) Fixing bugs

One of the priorities we work on daily is fixing bugs in the app. This week we paid special attention to incorrect gas calculation for TRON exchange, calculation of bnb balance when exchanging via the "max" button in the built-in DEX, display of current exchange rates, etc. Thanks for helping to find these bugs.

2) Optimization of SPEXY awards output
Faced with the fact that it is difficult to explain to users the need to have bnb as a native token of the BNB Smart Chain network in order to make a transaction in the blockchain. At the moment we have developed and are testing the ability to change their XP directly to BNB or USDT, bypassing SPX.

3) Testing the event
This Sunday we will hold the first test Poker Event in the A4 Holders private chat room. We'll see the feedback from the community and then have a large-scale tournament. We'll burn some of the prize pool tokens by sending them to a null address.

4) A4 Education edits
Expect edits to be made and returned to the closed community for testing, then submitted to open testing. Delaying edits a bit due to focus on other tasks.

1) Another burn

This week held the monthly burn of A4 tokens, which are charged as a commission for anstaking. In the entire existence of steaking, 4,895,470 A4 were burned.

2) Renewing the SPX contract

SPEXY is a P2E&M2E project inside A4 Wallet. Since the SPX token is a sell-only reward token, we have limited the ability to buy it via DEX to reduce volatility. You can read more about this in the project community.

3) Simplifying A4 Education

We share with you the process of closed beta testing of our education. During the tests we decided to slightly simplify the test of the acquired knowledge in order not to discourage the user with complicated information, especially at the first steps. We plan to make full changes next week and hand over the platform for open testing to the community.

4) Activities with the community

We have ideas to organize several events for @a4finance_chat and @a4finance_eng members. Write in the comments, would you participate in a poker tournament, for example?

5) Lab testing

The project team starts active testing of microservices that will become part of A4 Wallet in dapps format. However, the main focus of the developers still remains on fixing technical flaws in the wallet and SPEXY to release an update soon.

1) A4 Wallet is growing steadily

To date, the application has crossed the mark of 150,000 active devices. And this is already a lot, but we are only gaining momentum.

2) The first ecosystem product

Also for those who haven't seen it yet, A4 Ecosystem has launched the first project inside the ecosystem itself – SPEXY Game. At the moment, the game is only inside a decentralized wallet and is a kind of exclusive.

3) Closed Beta Test A4 Education

Hooray, at last we are putting into closed beta testing of cryptocurrency and blockchain training, which the subsidiary team has been creating for more than a year. There is no time to wait, it's time to disperse this locomotive, minor defects will be corrected in the process. A4 Education will be an absolutely free centralized portal for step-by-step training in all aspects of the basic use of cryptocurrencies. After all, training is one of the main missions of A4.

4) We face difficulties

In the process of growing active users within the entire ecosystem, including SPEXY, we face scaling problems.
Nodes fail, the payment service periodically fails, as well as other minor flaws in the wallet, some of which may be from previous versions. But we want to be honest with you, so we share these problems, promise to fix them in the near future and charge compensation for the inconvenience.

We announce gratuitous transfer of 83,583,333 А4 tokens, from A4 team to A4Bank for staking and subsequent distribution among participants.
Based on team's estimates, with current load, staking period will last approximately three months.

Additionally, we confirm that utility functions of the A4 token will be added and further expanded in the SPEXY game.

🔄 Significant update to the staking program

A4 offers some of the highest percentages of awards, while maintaining the length of time that staking is available. Our goal is to provide comfort to holders by keeping the stakes throughout the lifetime of the award pool.

Team tokens have also been entered into the staking as they are unlocked.
The lack of a DAO to collectively vote on important issues led to an independent decision: today team tokens and accrued rewards (≈150,000,000 A4) will be unstaked from option 0.3. The main team tokens will then go to lock with gradual unlocking, and the mined rewards (≈80,000,000 A4) will go back into the general pool.

In this way, we extend the life of staking and give new users the opportunity to try out the program.

Yay! We are proud to announce that a fresh version of our decentralised wallet is available for iOS and Android.
A4 Wallet has been completely rewritten and has nothing in common with previous versions.

- Multi-accounts - add as many seed phrases and private keys as you need within one session to switch between them conveniently
- Rate sources - now take up-to-date rates from CoinGecko and there's an option to disable updating them to lower your data usage
- More blockchains - Tron, Solana, Ethereum, BNB Smart Chain, Polygon, Avalanche, Fantom + ability to add any EVM networks in 2 clicks
- Fiat Equivalents - added ability to calculate balance in 11 different currencies
- SCAM Alert - when adding tokens in EVM networks using the contract address, the internal mechanism will examine the token and give a short summary of its "reliability".

After compulsory internal testing of non-custodial wallet on 340 different scenarios, we conduct closed beta testing among active holders.

On December 17 we handed over the latest Android build of non-custodial wallet to 150 active project participants. It is through testing by people who do not know the updated product as thoroughly as the developers, we can get the fullest range of feedback. Developers are already working on fixing bugs found, so that the final perfect version can be published in the app store as soon as possible.
